Spectators: 6810 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1810, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nentres Blake took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Nentres Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry's supporters rose to their feet, but Nentres Blake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cadyryeith Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pryderi Jenkins in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cadyryeith Grubb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rhun Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Idris Illingworth fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Abergele's zone, Dillan Glazier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cadyryeith Grubb came out of the goal and Dillan Glazier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garwyli Dawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhun Atkins in the 24th minute of the match. Inek Kemple kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Idris Illingworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garwyli Dawson having to interfere. If Idris Illingworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Idris Illingworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rhun Atkins made a kick off. Garwyli Dawson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhun Atkins went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Barry's Pryderi Jenkins got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, UWA Abergele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalldav Burt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Nentres Blake got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nentres Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadyryeith Grubb having to interfere. Garwyli Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhun Atkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nentres Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pryderi Jenkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pryderi Jenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cadyryeith Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barry fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for UWA Abergele. Sayer Frost stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Garwyli Dawson. 2-0. In the 98th minute, Dillan Glazier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cadyryeith Grubb was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. UWA Abergele were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barry for a fine match.
