Port Talbot Utd's Ceithin Denman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drwst Colston in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ifor Crease in the 27th minute of play forced Barry's goalkeeper Garwyli Dawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ysgawyn Denton couldn't finish the play. Ceithin Denman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Barry's Pryderi Jenkins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceithin Denman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Barry's goal looked a bit too open when Ifor Crease came free, but Garwyli Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
