After a rather tough play, Llanberis's Gwalhaved Knollys got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th match minute, Porthcawl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Broderick Hawke to maneuver through the defense. Gandwy Tinker took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selyv Fishbourne. Selyv Fishbourne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Porthcawl defense, Gandwy Tinker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selyv Fishbourne. The Porthcawl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selyv Fishbourne should have stopped the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Gandwy Tinker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llanberis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gandwy Tinker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Cedric Emmett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gandwy Tinker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anwir Biddwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwydion Whitesmith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Llanberis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seith Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Gwydion Whitesmith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anwir Biddwell made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Huw Heanaghan sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Llanberis's zone, Gwydion Whitesmith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anwir Biddwell came out of the goal and Gwydion Whitesmith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Porthcawl players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Llanberis were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gandwy Tinker made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Moesen Loane got a very nice opportunity to score, but Selyv Fishbourne was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gandwy Tinker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selyv Fishbourne having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Porthcawl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerallt Cormack to maneuver through the defense. Gandwy Tinker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Selyv Fishbourne came out and tried to block the shot, but Gandwy Tinker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 62nd minute. When Gwallawg Edgell fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porthcawl's protests and gave Gwallawg Edgell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Porthcawl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwallawg Edgell to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Llanberis got a freekick which was hit by Seith Hutton. Porthcawl's Gwydion Whitesmith got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anwir Biddwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huw Heanaghan in the 89th minute of the match. Gandwy Tinker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selyv Fishbourne having to interfere. Moesen Loane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerallt Cormack kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Llanberis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
