Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cadeyrn Beckett took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes, Prestatyn FC's Gobrwy Gately shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cynan Black came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prestatyn FC reached it. Llacheu Hanson's late challenge caught a Newtown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llacheu Hanson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Llacheu Hanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arianwyn Hatch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cynan Black tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newtown FC's Peredur Cameron got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arianwyn Hatch in the 20th minute of play forced Newtown FC's goalkeeper Cynan Black to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Baddon Finlay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prestatyn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baddon Finlay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barris Fell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Tristan Lowery when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prestatyn FC's Tristan Lowery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadeyrn Beckett in the 27th minute of play. If Cadeyrn Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Prestatyn FC got a freekick which was hit by Baddon Finlay. If Cadeyrn Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Prestatyn FC's Taffy Dowthwaite got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Barris Fell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Lowery was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 39 played minutes Prestatyn FC got a freekick which was hit by Llacheu Hanson. A collision led to Prestatyn FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arianwyn Hatch hit a great ball. Prestatyn FC's Tristan Lowery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadeyrn Beckett in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to Newtown FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Peredur Cameron hit a great ball. Tristan Lowery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barris Fell in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Cadeyrn Beckett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tristan Lowery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barris Fell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Cadeyrn Beckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barris Fell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Prestatyn FC's Amynedd Irvine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cynan Black narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amynedd Irvine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amynedd Irvines short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Cynan Black to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Newtown FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Evrei Love hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Newtown FC's goalkeeper Cynan Black had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amynedd Irvine. When Amynedd Irvine came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Prestatyn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amynedd Irvine couldn't finish the play. Amynedd Irvine's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Cynan Black skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Newtown FC's Cynan Black proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Newtown FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Prestatyn FC's Amynedd Irvine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cynan Black. That made the score 2-1 after 95 minutes of play. Many of Prestatyn FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Prestatyn FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Newtown FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
