A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gwyr Faber hit a great ball. Drudwas Beers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urien Hedgepath. UWA Baglan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 15 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Digon Hird. After having played for 20 minutes, Broderick Hawke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porthcawl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Broderick Hawke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. UWA Baglan's Urien Hedgepath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwydion Whitesmith in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Porthcawl's Amren Travers got a free kick in the 27th minute. Urien Hedgepath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwydion Whitesmith went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Quarrier in the 36th minute of play forced Porthcawl's goalkeeper Selyv Fishbourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Quarrier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Huw Heanaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When UWA Baglan's Brian Quarrier in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porthcawl's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Porthcawl's Gildas Braun got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 70th play minutes Prys Gearan shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Selyv Fishbourne and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of UWA Baglan booed when Porthcawl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Broderick Hawke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urien Hedgepath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwydion Whitesmith, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Digon Hird during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Digon Hird hit a great ball. If Huw Heanaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UWA Baglan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
