Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brian Quarrier kicked off to start the match. The Baglan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Prys Gearans short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Kian Jenks to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kian Jenks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Quarrier in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Heulyn Critchley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urien Hedgepath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Prys Gearan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Baglan's Kian Jenks. Kian Jenks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 played minutes Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Menw Keary. Gwyr Faber charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baglan's goalkeeper Kian Jenks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Prys Gearan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kian Jenks. Baglan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prys Gearan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 83rd minute, Heulyn Critchley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heulyn Critchley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urien Hedgepath having to interfere. Lug Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heulyn Critchley in the 89th minute of play forced UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Urien Hedgepath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urien Hedgepath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lug Bryant in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Baglan's zone, Lug Bryant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urien Hedgepath came out of the goal and Lug Bryant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UWA Baglan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
