Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cadeyrn Beckett to make the kick off. Barris Fell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kian Jenks made a huge save. Lug Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cynan Black tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cadeyrn Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 61 in the game by Cadeyrn Beckett from a close distance when the talented Kian Jenks managed to make a qualified save. Baglan's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peredur Cameron during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lug Bryant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Baglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casnar Billing to maneuver through the defense. With splendid footwork Cadeyrn Beckett arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. After some careless play in the Newtown FC defense, Lug Bryant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cynan Black. The Newtown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cynan Black should have stopped the shot. Baglan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
