Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urien Hedgepath, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Sel Kevin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of UWA Baglan booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalldav Devany didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sel Kevin couldn't finish the play. Urien Hedgepath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huw Luce, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Baglan's zone, Huw Luce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urien Hedgepath came out of the goal and Huw Luce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huw Luce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urien Hedgepath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Gwyr Faber hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Newtown's Drystan Gallagher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urien Hedgepath came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newtown reached it. Sel Kevin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cerwyn Cordle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urien Hedgepath having to interfere. The UWA Baglan players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Newtown from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
