Tudur Kilpatrick started the match with the kick off. Cadoc Puddler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waljan Foster in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Culhwch Benedict had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cadoc Puddler. Llandudno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Culhwch Benedict was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Mostyn Abrams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Carmarthen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mostyn Abrams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mostyn Abrams in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cadoc Puddler saved Llandudno FC from getting behind. Culhwch Benedict received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cadoc Puddler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mostyn Abrams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cadoc Puddler having to make a save. Pelles Wainwright hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tudur Kilpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waljan Holloway having to interfere. Tudur Kilpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Culhwch Benedict to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudur Kilpatrick in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waljan Holloway saved UWA Carmarthen from getting behind. If Mostyn Abrams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drwst Shrieve hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Tudur Kilpatrick made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Carmarthen's Waljan Holloway tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Culhwch Benedict took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cadoc Puddler to make any attempt to save it. Mostyn Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Waljan Holloway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudur Kilpatrick in the 76th minute of the match. Culhwch Benedict was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. UWA Carmarthen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cadoc Puddler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Culhwch Benedict in the 83rd minute of play. Tudur Kilpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Waljan Holloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadoc Puddler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Culhwch Benedict in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Tudur Kilpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waljan Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mostyn Abrams came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the UWA Carmarthen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mostyn Abrams couldn't finish the play. Culhwch Benedict's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cadoc Puddler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Mostyn Abrams succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 98th playminute. The UWA Carmarthen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UWA Carmarthen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
