The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Heulyn Critchley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baglan's supporters rose to their feet, but Heulyn Critchley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Lowery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes Prestatyn FC got a freekick which was hit by Arianwyn Hatch. Prestatyn FC's Tristan Lowery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Prestatyn FC from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Heulyn Critchley rounded Prestatyn FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heulyn Critchley in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Lowery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tristan Lowery made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lug Bryant sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heulyn Critchley to make the kick off. Baglan's Heulyn Critchley got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lug Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tristan Lowery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Prestatyn FC's Arianwyn Hatch in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Baglan. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Prestatyn FC's Syvwlch Ashbrook got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kian Jenks. After 83 played minutes, Baglan's Cadfael Folk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tristan Lowery came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baglan reached it. 84 minutes into the game, Cadfael Folk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baglan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prestatyn FC the free kick. After 86 minutes, Clyde Lovat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baglan and the Prestatyn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Clyde Lovat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clyde Lovat in the 95th minute of play forced Prestatyn FC's goalkeeper Tristan Lowery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Lowery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lug Bryant in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Baglan had won after a very even match.
