Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 150) UWA Rhonnda's Calcas Neatherder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Llanberis's Alun Finneran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenyon Forbes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alun Finneran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evrei Scrivener got free with Olwydd Loane in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 15 minutes, Evrei Scrivener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evrei Scrivener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Calcas Neatherder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olwydd Loane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Olwydd Loane managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when UWA Rhonnda's Evrei Scrivener fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Alun Finneran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenyon Forbes was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Gowerr Deacon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Llanberis's Powell Neatherder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Evrei Scrivener who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Olwydd Loane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Llanberis's Olwydd Loane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calcas Neatherder in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, one of Llanberis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kenyon Forbes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alun Finneran's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Arthur Hartcliff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kenyon Forbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alun Finneran made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Pembroke Kerswell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llanberis and the UWA Rhonnda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Pembroke Kerswell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes of play, UWA Rhonnda's Evrei Scrivener made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olwydd Loane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kenyon Forbes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alun Finneran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Llanberis's Olwydd Loane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calcas Neatherder in the 62nd minute of play. Arthur Hartcliff received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenyon Forbes came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Hartcliff slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. After 69 minutes of play, UWA Rhonnda's Calcas Neatherder made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olwydd Loane was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alun Finneran came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Llanberis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alun Finneran couldn't finish the play. UWA Rhonnda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alun Finneran 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Kenyon Forbes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Hartcliff in the 86th minute. Gruddyeu Dowthwaite's late challenge caught a Llanberis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gruddyeu Dowthwaite helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UWA Rhonnda getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gruddyeu Dowthwaite hit a great ball. The supporters of Llanberis booed when UWA Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ifor Foltz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alun Finneran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenyon Forbes having to interfere. Arthur Hartcliff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Kenyon Forbes made a huge save. The Llanberis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Llanberis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
