Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwalhaved Lamont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasgen Daly having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calder Cain in the 11th minute of play forced UWA Swansea's goalkeeper Anir Garth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sion Brinkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Marrock Boyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Swansea the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marrock Boyd to maneuver through the defense. Emrys Hughes's late challenge caught a Neath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emrys Hughes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UWA Swansea getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Emrys Hughes hit a great ball. Calder Cain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Swansea's goalkeeper Anir Garth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maelgwn Burrows could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Anir Garth made a huge save. Maelgwn Burrows received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anir Garth came out and tried to block the shot, but Maelgwn Burrows slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Pawl Keefe kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Rhett Ammons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhett Ammons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Neath's Anir Garth threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Calder Cain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sion Brinkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calder Cain made a kick off. Anir Garth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calder Cain's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A hard shot by Irvin Ambrose from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Pasgen Daly's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Neath's Calder Cain got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calder Cain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Garth having to interfere. Pasgen Daly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwalhaved Lamont in the 74th minute of play. Pasgen Daly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sion Brinkman in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howell Hockley to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Maelgwn Burrows was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Swansea the free kick. After 88 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Maelgwn Burrows. UWA Swansea's Sion Brinkman got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neath's Pasgen Daly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwalhaved Lamont in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
