Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Llanberis's goal looked a bit too open when Calder Cain came free, but Olwydd Loane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhett Ammons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Calder Cain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olwydd Loane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Hartcliff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pasgen Daly having to make a save. Olwydd Loane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calder Cain in the 13th minute of play. Arthur Hartcliff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Hartcliff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pasgen Daly having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Alun Finneran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pasgen Daly, 1-0. Alun Finneran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Llanberis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Arthur Hartcliff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Arthur Hartcliff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pasgen Daly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Neath's Marrock Boyd got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 41 minutes, Calder Cain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neath and the Llanberis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Llanberis booed when Neath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calder Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Calder Cain made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Calder Cain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calder Cain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pasgen Daly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Hartcliff in the 56th minute of the match. Maelgwn Burrows's late challenge caught a Llanberis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maelgwn Burrows helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Maelgwn Burrows hit a great ball. If Alun Finneran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rhett Ammons scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olwydd Loane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arthur Hartcliff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trefor Dutton during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Trefor Dutton hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alun Finneran in the 76th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Pasgen Daly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Llanberis's goal looked a bit too open when Calder Cain came free, but Olwydd Loane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pasgen Daly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alun Finneran in the 84th minute of play. Arthur Hartcliff might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pasgen Daly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Hartcliff ran back to his position shaking his head. Pasgen Daly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Hartcliff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Neath players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Llanberis from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
