The supporters of UWA Treorchy booed when UWA Swansea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Lynch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Gerwin Lockrey managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Irvin Ambrose hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Aglovale Jagger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Christian in the 15th minute of play forced UWA Swansea's goalkeeper Anir Garth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Gwalhaved Lamont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaughn Boryla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, UWA Treorchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cadwaladr Kilkelly to maneuver through the defense. If Gwalhaved Lamont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaughn Boryla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emrys Hughes. Sion Brinkman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 55th playminute. Gwalhaved Lamont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vaughn Boryla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerwin Lockrey hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Gwalhaved Lamont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaughn Boryla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anir Garth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Christian in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UWA Swansea walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
