Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Llwyd Foster kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Steffan Leaper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Presteigne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffan Leaper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goreu Kempster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kynlas Creagh in the 4th minute of the match. Gwern Bradley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, UWA Presteigne's Amhar Loane got control of the ball when Teregud Essig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teregud Essig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Amhar Loane made a huge save. If Llwyd Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teregud Essig did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amhar Loane 18 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as UWA Maesteg's Brathach Leggott slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amhar Loane. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Dafydd Fitzgerald hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, UWA Presteigne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwern Bradley to maneuver through the defense. Teregud Essig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Llwyd Foster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Maesteg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llwyd Foster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, UWA Maesteg's Teregud Essig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amhar Loane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwern Bradley to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's Llwyd Foster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amhar Loane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UWA Maesteg's Goreu Kempster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwern Bradley in the 55th minute of play. If Teregud Essig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwern Bradley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Tudur Bruce. Llwyd Foster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Amhar Loane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teregud Essig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwern Bradley in the 72nd minute of play forced UWA Maesteg's goalkeeper Goreu Kempster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kynlas Creagh managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Presteigne's supporters rose to their feet, but Kynlas Creagh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goreu Kempster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kynlas Creagh came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the UWA Presteigne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kynlas Creagh couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Teregud Essig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Teregud Essig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amhar Loane was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teregud Essig in the 87th minute of play forced UWA Presteigne's goalkeeper Amhar Loane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llwyd Foster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Amhar Loane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llwyd Foster took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amhar Loane. Amhar Loane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
