Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Drych Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Rhonnda's Maxen Hand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Rhonnda from getting a goal against them. In the 12th match minute, UWA Rhonnda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anyon Joyner to maneuver through the defense. Weyland Doyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to UWA Maesteg getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Druce Rigger hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Teilo Leigh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teilo Leigh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When UWA Rhonnda's Dylan Head in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Amren Waterman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 25 minutes, Brad Vulcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Rhonnda and the UWA Maesteg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UWA Rhonnda's Brad Vulcan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Weyland Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maxen Hand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teilo Leigh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amren Waterman having to interfere. If Teilo Leigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Drych Christian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of UWA Maesteg booed when UWA Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevyn King didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Head scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amren Waterman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The UWA Maesteg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Rhonnda were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Drych Christian to strike the kick off in the second half. Dylan Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amren Waterman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weyland Doyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, UWA Rhonnda's Anyon Joyner got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Teilo Leigh came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the UWA Rhonnda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teilo Leigh couldn't finish the play. Awstin Fergus charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Awstin Fergus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Awstin Fergus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Head recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The UWA Maesteg fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when UWA Maesteg's Weyland Doyle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maxen Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weyland Doyle in the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, UWA Rhonnda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brad Vulcan to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Drych Christian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxen Hand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Dylan Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amren Waterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Drych Christian sped through UWA Rhonnda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxen Hand. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UWA Maesteg had won after a very even match.
