Duach Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dagonet Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carmarthen SC's Dagonet Curtis got control of the ball when Duach Harden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dagonet Curtis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ffowc Hind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ffowc Hind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Carmarthen SC got a freekick which was hit by Arian Knight. Knighton's Vaughn Malender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Kay in the 25th minute of play. Ffowc Hind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmarthen SC's Lionel Kay got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Drew Burgonmaster scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaughn Malender, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Knighton booed when Carmarthen SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tringad Argyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ffowc Hind made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Carmarthen SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ffowc Hind came free, but Dagonet Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Duach Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagonet Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Knighton's goalkeeper Vaughn Malender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duach Harden took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagonet Curtis. Dagonet Curtis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 69th minute, Lionel Kay made a precise shot to the right of Vaughn Malender. Knighton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Drew Burgonmaster came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Carmarthen SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Burgonmaster couldn't finish the play. Carmarthen SC's Dagonet Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ffowc Hind in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duach Harden in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagonet Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th match minute, Carmarthen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arian Knight to maneuver through the defense. Dagonet Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duach Harden in the 80th minute of the match. Lionel Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaughn Malender having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Arian Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmarthen SC and the Knighton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Carmarthen SC got a freekick which was hit by Arian Knight. When Knighton's Ffowc Hind in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Ffowc Hind's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagonet Curtis was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
