After a rather tough play, Cardigan's Pwyll Lamb got a free kick in the 28th minute. 35 minutes in the game, Maddox Henderson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kynwal Hellier having to interfere. When Mid Wales Ultras's Siam Kidder in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Siam Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kynwal Hellier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dewey Barnes to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Calcas Farr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardigan and the Mid Wales Ultras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cyryl Karwowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calcas Farr in the 84th minute. Kynwal Hellier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gruddyeu French, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cardigan's zone, Siam Kidder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kynwal Hellier came out of the goal and Siam Kidder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cadeyrn Gladwin's late challenge caught a Mid Wales Ultras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cadeyrn Gladwin helped the player get up and apologised. Mid Wales Ultras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
