Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Aeddan Hatcheler started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Barry Utd's Kenn Bailey got control of the ball when Gwyddno Earnshaw tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmyg Hall in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brathach Browning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmyg Hall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cardiff Utd's Kenyon Keyes got a free kick in the 16th minute. Brathach Browning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmyg Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the game, one of Barry Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th minute, Llwydeu Flanagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmyg Hall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brathach Browning having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aeddan Hatcheler in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brathach Browning saved Cardiff Utd from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Edmyg Hall made a precise shot to the right of Brathach Browning. Cardiff Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edmyg Hall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Llwydeu Flanagan made the kick off in the second half. Brathach Browning made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Edmyg Hall sent off a good shot on target. Gwyddno Earnshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwyddno Earnshaw struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Kenn Bailey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardiff Utd. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Aeddan Hatcheler got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 75th match minute, Barry Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cerdic Hobson to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Cardiff Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Aeddan Hatcheler came free, but Brathach Browning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edmyg Hall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmyg Hall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brathach Browning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Barry Utd's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Barry Utd may have spent more time on the ball, but Cardiff Utd were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
