Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bleddyn Hacker got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the game, Teilo Leigh landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. March Berwick charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed March Berwick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Neath's March Berwick got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siam Islip during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maxen Hand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bleddyn Hacker went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dylan Head managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Rhonnda's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Head was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meical Haycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Neath booed when UWA Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corryn Keefe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kynwyl Yeoman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Maxen Hand made a huge save. If Dylan Head had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kynwyl Yeoman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maxen Hand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kynwyl Yeoman came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Neath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kynwyl Yeoman couldn't finish the play. Maxen Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bleddyn Hacker in the 35th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Dylan Head who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neath's Meical Haycock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dylan Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Meical Haycock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brad Vulcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dylan Head to make the kick off. Meical Haycock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Head in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Brad Vulcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Rhonnda and the Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Head in the 57th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Meical Haycock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxen Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kynwyl Yeoman in the 62nd minute of play. When Bleddyn Hacker came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Neath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bleddyn Hacker couldn't finish the play. After having played for 66 minutes, Dylan Head managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Head was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dylan Head had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dylan Head struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Meical Haycock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Rhonnda. Dylan Head sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UWA Rhonnda's Maddock Handley got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Maxen Hand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bleddyn Hacker's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Neath's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
