When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bleddyn Hacker made a kick off. Kynwyl Yeoman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenn Bailey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Neath booed when Barry Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Granwen Cullin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albanwr Eckles's late challenge caught a Neath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Barry Utd getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Brian Husbandman hit a great ball. Bleddyn Hacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. In the 89th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bleddyn Hacker to maneuver through the defense. Neath's Meical Haycock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aeddan Hatcheler in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
