Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dylan Head started the match with the kick off. Knighton's Vaughn Malender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teilo Leigh in the 4th minute of play. Arglwydd Felt kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, UWA Rhonnda's Maxen Hand got control of the ball when Duach Harden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teilo Leigh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vaughn Malender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhyd Crosby charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rhyd Crosby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UWA Rhonnda booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhyd Crosby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Duach Harden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxen Hand. UWA Rhonnda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duach Harden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vaughn Malender came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Rhonnda's Dylan Head. But to his dismay, Dylan Head quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dylan Head might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaughn Malender. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dylan Head ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Siam Hind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Teilo Leigh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaughn Malender was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duach Harden to make the kick off. Dylan Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vaughn Malender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaughn Malender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dylan Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match UWA Rhonnda got a corner. Knighton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wren Darwin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on UWA Rhonnda's corner Wren Darwin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaughn Malender quite easily take care of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Duach Harden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Maxen Hand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Duach Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duach Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Maxen Hand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siam Hind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, UWA Rhonnda's goal looked a bit too open when Duach Harden came free, but Maxen Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duach Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Maxen Hand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Ysberin Grinham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knighton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Rhonnda the free kick. A collision led to Knighton getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ysberin Grinham hit a great ball. Vaughn Malender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Teilo Leigh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
