Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dewey Barnes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Bedyw Cunningham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kynwal Hellier was a little too slow when Teilo Leigh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kynwal Hellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Head in the 13th minute of the match. Kynwal Hellier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Dylan Head's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kynwal Hellier was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The supporters of UWA Rhonnda booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tegvan Browning didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Dylan Head in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 41st minute, one of Cardigan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cardigan. UWA Rhonnda's Dylan Head got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teilo Leigh got free with Kynwal Hellier in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 52 minutes of play, UWA Rhonnda's Dylan Head made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kynwal Hellier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58thth minute of the game Dylan Head who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardigan's Kynwal Hellier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, UWA Rhonnda's Maxen Hand got control of the ball when Calcas Farr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kynwal Hellier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dylan Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Teilo Leigh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teilo Leigh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Head recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kynwal Hellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Head in the 82nd minute of the match. When Teilo Leigh came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the UWA Rhonnda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teilo Leigh couldn't finish the play. Tegvan Browning kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cardigan's Calcas Farr got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes UWA Rhonnda got a freekick which was hit by Anyon Joyner. Brad Vulcan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, UWA Rhonnda's Teilo Leigh got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Rhonnda's zone, Dewey Barnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxen Hand came out of the goal and Dewey Barnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
