Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rheged Wainwright made the kick off which started today's match. Braen Keaty might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maddox Cummins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braen Keaty ran back to his position shaking his head. Griffith Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 minutes, Anwas Currier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhyl and the UWA Swansea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anwas Currier hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Trevelyan Hanley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradwen Hernon in the 14th minute of the match. Trevelyan Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffith Brent in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rhyl's goalkeeper Trevelyan Hanley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to UWA Swansea getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gwallawg Adams hit a great ball. Maddox Cummins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rheged Wainwright in the 31st minute of play. UWA Swansea's Maddox Cummins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rheged Wainwright in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Anwas Currier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Griffith Brent in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevelyan Hanley saved Rhyl from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Rhyl got a freekick which was hit by Bradwen Farley. If Bradwen Hernon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 47th minute of the match Anwas Currier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anwas Currier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 55th match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ieuan Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Rheged Wainwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Cummins having to interfere. A collision led to Rhyl getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bradwen Farley hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Griffith Brent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Swansea's zone, Braen Keaty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maddox Cummins came out of the goal and Braen Keaty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maddox Cummins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rheged Wainwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Braen Keaty came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rhyl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braen Keaty couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Rhyl defense, Bradwen Hernon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevelyan Hanley. The Rhyl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevelyan Hanley should have stopped the shot. Griffith Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
