Kynon Huckaby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Penarth Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adwr Joyner to maneuver through the defense. Cadellin Bourns struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Caerwyn Jack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Bridgend. In the 29th minute, Kynon Huckaby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bellieus Derrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Griffin Gettins notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UWA Bridgend's Bellieus Derrick. Bellieus Derrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. UWA Bridgend's Bellieus Derrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kynon Huckaby in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Penarth Utd's Adwr Joyner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bellieus Derrick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Griffin Gettins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bellieus Derrick having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Cadellin Bourns managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadellin Bourns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caerwyn Jack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Penarth Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lleu Hanley to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Penarth Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cadellin Bourns came free, but Caerwyn Jack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
