Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) UWA Neath's Llwyr Ashbrook started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Griffin Gettins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gwitart Longshoreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 3 minutes, Barris John mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Neath and the Penarth Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes UWA Neath got a freekick which was hit by Barris John. Kynon Huckaby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caerwyn Jack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llwyr Ashbrook in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llwyr Ashbrook in the 9th minute of play forced Penarth Utd's goalkeeper Caerwyn Jack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kynon Huckaby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwitart Longshoreman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Griffin Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the UWA Neath defense, Kynon Huckaby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwitart Longshoreman. The UWA Neath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwitart Longshoreman should have stopped the shot. Newlin Hawk hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 29 minutes in the game, Griffin Gettins fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gwitart Longshoreman having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Brys Conlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penarth Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Neath the free kick. The supporters of UWA Neath booed when Penarth Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brys Conlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Griffin Gettins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Griffin Gettins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gwitart Longshoreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Griffin Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Kynon Huckaby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwitart Longshoreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Edern Gillett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penarth Utd and the UWA Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Penarth Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Penarth Utd. If Griffin Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Griffin Gettins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Neath's Gwitart Longshoreman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kynon Huckaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwitart Longshoreman having to interfere. Kynon Huckaby struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gwitart Longshoreman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penarth Utd. 83 minutes into the match, UWA Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Griffin Gettins came free, but Gwitart Longshoreman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barris John hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Kynon Huckaby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gwitart Longshoreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wren Hickey scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caerwyn Jack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Griffin Gettins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wren Hickey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 97th playminute. UWA Neath were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Penarth Utd's much stronger midfield.
