In the 4th minute, Llwyd Glennon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Bridgend's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Angawdd Blakey scored to the left of an out of position Lavaine Budge, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amhar Gill in the 15th minute of play forced Barry FC's goalkeeper Dagonet Tinker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry FC's Calcas Knox suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Reese Epperson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Barry FC's Angawdd Blakey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amhar Gill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dagonet Tinker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Bridgend's Lavaine Budge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angawdd Blakey in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Collen Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Collen Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavaine Budge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Angawdd Blakey came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Barry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angawdd Blakey couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, UWA Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llwyd Glennon to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th match minute, Barry FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lludd Biggs to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barry FC's Angawdd Blakey got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Andreas Latham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Llwyd Glennon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Angawdd Blakey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Bran Lane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wren Haugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagonet Tinker having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barry FC's goalkeeper Dagonet Tinker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wren Haugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagonet Tinker having to interfere. If Angawdd Blakey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Barry FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerallt Coe to maneuver through the defense. Dagonet Tinker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elphin Loane in the 97th minute of the match. UWA Bridgend's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
