The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gwilym Erwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braen Cannon having to interfere. Braen Cannon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marrock Jordan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerawdwr Saddler's late challenge caught a Llandysul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amerawdwr Saddler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, one of Llandudno Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Llandudno Utd. A collision led to Llandudno Utd getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bradwr King hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goalkeeper Ardwyad Coffren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rhun James. If Rhun James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rhun James got free with Ardwyad Coffren in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute of the match Reese Andrew sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ardwyad Coffren skillfully saved the ball. Braen Cannon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwilym Erwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Gwilym Erwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llandysul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Tringad Fleming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tringad Fleming to make the kick off. When Llandudno Utd's Tringad Fleming in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llandysul's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Llandysul defense, Rhun James kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ardwyad Coffren. The Llandysul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ardwyad Coffren should have stopped the shot. Ardwyad Coffren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhun James, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ardwyad Coffren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhun James in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Gwilym Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llandysul's Ardwyad Coffren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tringad Fleming in the 79th minute of play. Tringad Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tringad Fleming in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ardwyad Coffren saved Llandysul from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Gerallt Denton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llandysul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llandudno Utd the free kick. Tringad Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ardwyad Coffren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Llandudno Utd's Tringad Fleming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardwyad Coffren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Llandysul players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Llandudno Utd from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
