Merlin Coonan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aglovale Docker in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Sugyn Ivor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merlin Coonan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Skewen FC's Kynlas Journeyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswallt Gibbons narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Brice Hamran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skewen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Talgarth the free kick. A collision led to Skewen FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Brice Hamran hit a great ball. If Aglovale Docker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Llyn Hibberd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Brice Hamran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aglovale Docker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Aglovale Docker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Coonan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aglovale Docker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswallt Gibbons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kynlas Journeyman in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rhobert Hailey kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Kynlas Journeyman struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oswallt Gibbons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skewen FC. If Kynlas Journeyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penvro Browning hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Olwydd Ivers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rhys Ingram kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Oswallt Gibbons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hooley in the 70th minute of play. Merlin Coonan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aglovale Docker, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Olwydd Ivers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Talgarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olwydd Ivers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to UWA Talgarth getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pedr Grimley hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Kynlas Journeyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswallt Gibbons. UWA Talgarth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kynlas Journeyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 85 minutes into the game, Morgan Tucker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skewen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Talgarth the free kick. After 85 played minutes Skewen FC got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Tucker. Merlin Coonan was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Aglovale Docker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aglovale Docker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Kynlas Journeyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswallt Gibbons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. If Kynlas Journeyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
