Bradwr King hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's Elphin Loane broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lavaine Budge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tringad Fleming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Iolo Ingram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Bridgend and the Llandudno Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Llandudno Utd booed when UWA Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iolo Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavaine Budge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tringad Fleming in the 17th minute of play. Braen Cannon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wren Haugh in the 20th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Llandudno Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bradwr King. In the 31st minute Wren Haugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braen Cannon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Amhar Gill managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Amhar Gill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braen Cannon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, one of UWA Bridgend:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Wren Haugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Llandudno Utd's Ol Hawke got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Tringad Fleming tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lavaine Budge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amhar Gill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hydd Doody took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lavaine Budge. Lavaine Budge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tringad Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Bridgend's Lavaine Budge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhun James in the 57th minute of play. When Tringad Fleming came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Llandudno Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tringad Fleming couldn't finish the play. Llandudno Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Amhar Gill scored to the left of an out of position Braen Cannon, making the score, 2-1. Wren Haugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braen Cannon having to interfere. Amhar Gill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braen Cannon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amhar Gill in the 76th minute of play forced Llandudno Utd's goalkeeper Braen Cannon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tringad Fleming scored 3-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lavaine Budge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lavaine Budge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhun James, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Llandudno Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while UWA Bridgend had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
