UWA Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Amhar Gill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Coonan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kynlas Journeyman in the 20th minute of play forced UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Lavaine Budge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lavaine Budge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kynlas Journeyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The wind increased when Wren Haugh made the kick off in the second half. Brathach Fabian kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Merlin Coonan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wren Haugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skewen FC's Kynlas Journeyman got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trent Hooley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lavaine Budge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Bridgend's Lavaine Budge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Hooley in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skewen FC's goalkeeper Merlin Coonan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Llwyd Glennon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skewen FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
