Llandysul's Gwilym Erwin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ysgawyn Biddwell struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. A wasted opportunity for Llandysul. 10 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's Bors Asher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardwyad Coffren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute of the match UWA Maesteg got a corner. Llandysul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teithi Canning ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Teithi Canning almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Llandysul's Ardwyad Coffren did a great save. After some careless play in the Llandysul defense, Bors Asher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ardwyad Coffren. The Llandysul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ardwyad Coffren should have stopped the shot. If Gwilym Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Bradwr Hussey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, UWA Maesteg's Bradwr Hussey got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ysgawyn Biddwell kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Bors Asher managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Maesteg's supporters rose to their feet, but Bors Asher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardwyad Coffren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marrock Jordan took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryn Joseph. Bryn Joseph dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bryn Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwilym Erwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A hard shot 39 in the game by Marrock Jordan from a close distance when the talented Bryn Joseph managed to make a qualified save. UWA Maesteg's players were relieved. Wadu Asher charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wadu Asher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Wadu Asher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The UWA Maesteg fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when UWA Maesteg's Morthwyl Crowley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bors Asher to make the kick off. Marrock Jordan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Llandysul's Ardwyad Coffren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Llandysul from getting a goal against them. Gwallter Flanders's late challenge caught a UWA Maesteg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwallter Flanders helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Llandysul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, UWA Maesteg's Teithi Canning got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ardwyad Coffren. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pennar Flannery during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UWA Maesteg booed when Llandysul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pennar Flannery didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bors Asher managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Maesteg's supporters rose to their feet, but Bors Asher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardwyad Coffren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bors Asher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryn Joseph stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marrock Jordan's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Marrock Jordan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryn Joseph having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Gwilym Erwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llandysul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bors Asher in the 96th minute of play forced Llandysul's goalkeeper Ardwyad Coffren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marrock Jordan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 101st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UWA Maesteg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
