Dalldav Herren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwallawg Hawley having to interfere. If Daned Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwallawg Hawley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daned Bray in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorsedd Harper in the 13th minute of play forced UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Collen Colby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwallawg Hawley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalldav Herren, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Teilo Leek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. UWA Talgarth's Llyr Enoch suffered a sore foot after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryn Bligh during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UWA Talgarth booed when UWA Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryn Bligh didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teilo Leek got free with Collen Colby in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gorsedd Harper in the 33rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Collen Colby kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gorsedd Harper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalldav Herren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gwallawg Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalldav Herren to strike the kick off in the second half. UWA Talgarth's Dalldav Herren got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colwyn Greenham kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Dalldav Herren might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gwallawg Hawley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalldav Herren ran back to his position shaking his head. Teilo Leek struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Collen Colby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Bridgend. 69 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Gwallawg Hawley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalldav Herren. If Dalldav Herren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Gwern Eggleston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Talgarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwern Eggleston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Gwern Eggleston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Talgarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Bridgend the free kick. A collision led to UWA Talgarth getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gwern Eggleston hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Gorsedd Harper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Collen Colby. UWA Talgarth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gorsedd Harper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 84 minutes into the match, UWA Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Colwyn Greenham came free, but Collen Colby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Teilo Leek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Collen Colby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teilo Leek in the 92nd minute of play. Colwyn Greenham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
