Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olwydd Ashley kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Colwyn Hawke in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morthwyl Boyce saved UWA Barmouth from getting behind. Morthwyl Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olwydd Ashley in the 13th minute of play. Nentres Gilbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Weyland Coneely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Flint and the UWA Barmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UWA Flint getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Weyland Coneely hit a great ball. When Weyland Coneely was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, UWA Flint's Weyland Coneely got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, UWA Flint's goal looked a bit too open when Kynon Finch came free, but Sayer Sawbones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nentres Gilbert in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sayer Sawbones, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Colwyn Hawke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nentres Gilbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Sayer Sawbones when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Barmouth's zone, Colwyn Hawke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morthwyl Boyce came out of the goal and Colwyn Hawke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amhar Birdwell's late challenge caught a UWA Flint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amhar Birdwell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, UWA Barmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amhar Birdwell to maneuver through the defense. Sayer Sawbones came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Barmouth's Nentres Gilbert. But to his dismay, Nentres Gilbert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 49th minute of the match, Kynon Finch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sayer Sawbones saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Colwyn Hawke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kynon Finch in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sayer Sawbones saved UWA Flint from getting behind. After some careless play in the UWA Flint defense, Nentres Gilbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sayer Sawbones. The UWA Flint fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sayer Sawbones should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teregud Gerdes during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes UWA Flint got a freekick which was hit by Teregud Gerdes. UWA Barmouth's Nentres Gilbert got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colwyn Hawke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morthwyl Boyce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Nentres Gilbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amhar Birdwell hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. UWA Barmouth's Nentres Gilbert got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kynon Finch struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sayer Sawbones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Barmouth. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nentres Gilbert in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sayer Sawbones saved UWA Flint from getting behind. Gwydion Duckett might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sayer Sawbones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gwydion Duckett ran back to his position shaking his head. UWA Barmouth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
