Teilo Leek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drystan Coalman having to interfere. Gorsedd Harper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Drystan Coalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradwen Ammon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Gwallawg Hawley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iestyn Buchan, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 19 played minutes Bradwen Ammon rounded UWA Bridgend's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Penvro Dulleran got free with Gwallawg Hawley in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teilo Leek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drystan Coalman having to interfere. Teilo Leek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Gorsedd Harper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorsedd Harper in the 45th minute of play forced Bangor's goalkeeper Drystan Coalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradwen Ammon was the one to do the kick off. Drystan Coalman made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Teilo Leek sent off a good shot on target. UWA Bridgend's Gwallawg Hawley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Penvro Dulleran in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Bradwen Ammon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwallawg Hawley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The UWA Bridgend fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when UWA Bridgend's Teilo Leek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colwyn Greenham hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Drystan Coalman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the UWA Bridgend defense, Bradwen Ammon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwallawg Hawley. The UWA Bridgend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwallawg Hawley should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradwen Ammon in the 91st minute of play forced UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Gwallawg Hawley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Penvro Dulleran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gwallawg Hawley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Penvro Dulleran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gwallawg Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bangor fans cheered their team off the field, for while UWA Bridgend had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
