The supporters of UWA Flint booed when Bangor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evrei Gough didn't get a good kick on the ball. UWA Flint's Colwyn Hawke got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bradwen Ammon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Penvro Dulleran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradwen Ammon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sayer Sawbones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drystan Coalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colwyn Hawke in the 29th minute of play. UWA Flint's Sayer Sawbones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradwen Ammon in the 33rd minute of play. Bangor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Flint the free kick. In the 39th minute, one of Bangor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bangor. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for UWA Flint. Sior Foley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Drystan Coalman. 0-1. If Penvro Dulleran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bangor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Flint were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olwydd Ashley to make the kick off. 70 minutes into the match, UWA Flint's Colwyn Hawke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Drystan Coalman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Colwyn Hawke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drystan Coalman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olwydd Ashley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Bangor's Bradwen Ammon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sayer Sawbones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UWA Flint's Sayer Sawbones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradwen Ammon in the 88th minute of play. Sayer Sawbones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Penvro Dulleran in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Iestyn Buchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bangor's zone, Olwydd Ashley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drystan Coalman came out of the goal and Olwydd Ashley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
