Casnar Hooker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calcas Jack having to interfere. Pyrs Eliss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Calcas Jack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casnar Hooker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prys Lonsdale charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prys Lonsdale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prys Lonsdale to maneuver through the defense. Newtown's Calcas Jack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casnar Hooker in the 14th minute of play. Casnar Hooker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Pyrs Eliss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calcas Jack. Newtown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pyrs Eliss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Skewen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bogart Fischer hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Madoc Kenna fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Skewen's Llwydeu Monger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Skewen from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Madoc Kenna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Llwydeu Monger. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Skewen's Pyrs Eliss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calcas Jack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pelles Herrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casnar Hooker made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Newtown's zone, Pyrs Eliss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calcas Jack came out of the goal and Pyrs Eliss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Calcas Jack managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Skewen's Pyrs Eliss fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casnar Hooker in the 59th minute of play forced Newtown's goalkeeper Calcas Jack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alun Devlin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Newtown got a freekick which was hit by Iago Fischer. In the 82ndth minute of the game Pelles Herrington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skewen's Llwydeu Monger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Skewen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysberin Davies to maneuver through the defense. Llwydeu Monger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madoc Kenna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Skewen's Casnar Hooker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calcas Jack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casnar Hooker in the 91st minute of play forced Newtown's goalkeeper Calcas Jack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Pyrs Eliss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Calcas Jack was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
