Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Newtown's Griflet Bradbury started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eudav Kidder in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cadeyrn Hamm saved Newtown from getting behind. Cadeyrn Hamm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradwen Love in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Newtown getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Erbin Duff hit a great ball. Eudav Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cadeyrn Hamm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradwen Love in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cadeyrn Hamm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Caradoc Chadwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadeyrn Hamm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradwen Love, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Newtown getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erbin Duff hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Griflet Bradbury managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Griflet Bradbury was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceri Guthrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Finlay having to interfere. If Eudav Kidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Newtown's goal looked a bit too open when Bradwen Love came free, but Cadeyrn Hamm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadeyrn Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eudav Kidder in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Newtown booed when UWA Llanberis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aberthol Whitesmith didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Caradoc Chadwick sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Llanberis's Rhys Finlay didn't even have to move. If Griflet Bradbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Newtown:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UWA Llanberis:s goal. The referee gave UWA Llanberis a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kevyn Large, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newtown's Cadeyrn Hamm. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Newtown's Seith Foley got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eudav Kidder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bradwen Love blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cadeyrn Hamm having to make a save. Cadeyrn Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradwen Love in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alwyn Huckaby to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Ceri Guthrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceri Guthrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rhys Finlay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceri Guthrie in the 90th minute of the match. Alwyn Huckaby kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Seith Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Eudav Kidder notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Newtown's Cadeyrn Hamm. Cadeyrn Hamm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The UWA Llanberis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UWA Llanberis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
