Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iowerth Felton started the match with the kick off. Iowerth Felton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Iona Bagwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Seren Keefe fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Presteigne's protests and gave Seren Keefe a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in UWA Presteigne fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Llanberis a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eryi Godbear, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UWA Presteigne's Weyland Green. 1-0. A hard shot 19 in the game by Bleddyn Faherty from a close distance when the talented Weyland Green managed to make a qualified save. UWA Presteigne's players were relieved. A collision led to Llanberis getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cubert Abrams hit a great ball. When Caradawg Doody came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the UWA Presteigne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caradawg Doody couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Caradawg Doody made a precise shot to the right of Iona Bagwell. Llanberis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bleddyn Faherty succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 47th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bleddyn Faherty was the one to do the kick off. Weyland Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerwin Graves, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bleddyn Faherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caradawg Doody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Iona Bagwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Prys Bulbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as UWA Presteigne's Cas Ingersoll slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iona Bagwell. That made the score 2-2 after 75 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Llanberis's Prys Bulbeck got a free kick in the 78th minute. The long shot by Arglwydd Kilpatrick in the 79th minute really tested Iona Bagwell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Iona Bagwell managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when UWA Presteigne's Caradawg Doody fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87th minute, Bleddyn Faherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Weyland Green was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 91 minutes into the match, Llanberis's goalkeeper Iona Bagwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caradawg Doody. UWA Presteigne's Caradawg Doody got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llanberis's goalkeeper Iona Bagwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Iowerth Felton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Presteigne's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
