Gilbert Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caledvwich Epps came free, but Gilbert Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llwyd Quarrier struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gilbert Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen. Seith Hatch stood somewhat misplaced when Mordwywr Hastings came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. If Anfri Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Llangollen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gruddyeu Coffren hit a great ball. Llangollen FC's Berth Simmons couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Llangollen. Llwyd Quarrier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Dempsey having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Llwyd Quarrier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Dempsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Anfri Hawley took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seith Hatch. Seith Hatch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rheged Goff hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Dywel Bellew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llangollen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen FC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Llangollen got a freekick which was hit by Dywel Bellew. It was beautiful to see Llangollen FC's Jones Mintmaster in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mordwywr Hastings to make the kick off. Anfri Hawley struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gilbert Dempsey made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Caledvwich Epps sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llwyd Quarrier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llwyd Quarrier in the 70th minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Gilbert Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llangollen's Llwyd Quarrier got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Addolgar Bellew to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Llwyd Quarrier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Llangollen booed when Llangollen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jones Mintmaster didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Llwyd Quarrier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llangollen FC's Gilbert Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Llangollen FC's Gilbert Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llwyd Quarrier in the 92nd minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's Rheged Goff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seith Hatch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
