Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Griflet Bradbury took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Newtown's Seith Foley got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Brys Clicker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brys Clicker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neath's Brys Clicker got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Newtown's Cadeyrn Hamm got control of the ball when Gwitart Dunphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Newtown's Cadeyrn Hamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brys Clicker in the 17th minute of play. Garym Coulson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Neath defense, Griflet Bradbury kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llwydeu Puddler. The Neath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llwydeu Puddler should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Neath booed when Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Griflet Bradbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seith Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brys Clicker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cadeyrn Hamm was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Gwitart Dunphys short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Cadeyrn Hamm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brys Clicker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brys Clicker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brys Clicker in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cadeyrn Hamm saved Newtown from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Brys Clicker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cadeyrn Hamm was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Griflet Bradbury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Puddler having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Gwitart Dunphy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwitart Dunphy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cerwyn Brandon kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Garym Coulson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Caradoc Chadwick sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Neath's Llwydeu Puddler didn't even have to move. After having played for 82 minutes, Brys Clicker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brys Clicker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceri Guthrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neath's Llwydeu Puddler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Neath from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Newtown's zone, Brys Clicker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cadeyrn Hamm came out of the goal and Brys Clicker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Neath's goalkeeper Llwydeu Puddler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceri Guthrie. Ceri Guthrie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Llwydeu Puddler made a huge save. Brys Clicker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cadeyrn Hamm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Newtown players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Neath from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
