After having played for 25 minutes, Llwyd Quarrier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llangollen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llwyd Quarrier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Morgan Findley fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porth's protests and gave Morgan Findley a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Porth got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Findley. If Caledvwich Epps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Porth getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Morgan Findley hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Llangollen were awarded a corner. Dywel Bellew went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dywel Bellew got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sior Brooks quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute, Llangollen's Llwyd Quarrier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sior Brooks. Sior Brooks yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 49th minute, Llwyd Quarrier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Llwyd Quarrier to strike the kick off in the second half. Caledvwich Epps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sior Brooks having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Porth's Newlin Booth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seith Hatch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caledvwich Epps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Porth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Findley to maneuver through the defense. Sior Brooks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llwyd Quarrier, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Newlin Booth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Seith Hatch came out and tried to block the shot, but Newlin Booth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Caledvwich Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangollen's supporters rose to their feet, but Caledvwich Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sior Brooks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seith Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wren Howe in the 80th minute of the match. Llwyd Quarrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sior Brooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Llwyd Quarrier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Llwyd Quarrier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porth's Sior Brooks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caledvwich Epps in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Cadfael Donnelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llangollen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Newlin Booth 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Llangollen players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
