Llangollen's Seith Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Hand in the 12th minute of play. Iona Bagwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llwyd Quarrier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bleddyn Faherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Seith Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seith Hatch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Hand in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Llangollen got a freekick which was hit by Siam Wainwright. Merlin Hand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seith Hatch having to interfere. Iona Bagwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llwyd Quarrier in the 31st minute of the match. Merlin Hand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Seith Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Hand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Llanberis's Merlin Hand got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caledvwich Epps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iona Bagwell having to interfere. A collision led to Llanberis getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Caledvwich Cribban hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Llwyd Quarrier made a kick off. If Merlin Hand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinadan Flower in the 58th minute of play forced Llangollen's goalkeeper Seith Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gerwin Graves fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llanberis's protests and gave Gerwin Graves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Llanberis's Gerwin Graves got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Merlin Hand hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Merlin Hand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llanberis's supporters rose to their feet, but Merlin Hand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seith Hatch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Llangollen's Caledvwich Epps sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iona Bagwell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Llanberis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cubert Abrams to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Dywel Bellew in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but Iona Bagwell made a really good save at the right post. The Llangollen fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Llangollen's Llwyd Quarrier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Hand came free, but Seith Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llangollen succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Llanberis had controlled the match.
