Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Drudwas Harden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dinadan Flower kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Romney Teamster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iona Bagwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romney Teamster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iona Bagwell having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Romney Teamster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maesteg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romney Teamster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Llanberis defense, Drudwas Harden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iona Bagwell. The Llanberis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iona Bagwell should have stopped the shot. Bleddyn Faherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Merlin Hand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkin Keelan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melkin Keelan came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Llanberis's Bleddyn Faherty. But to his dismay, Bleddyn Faherty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Merlin Hand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maesteg FC's Melkin Keelan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Hand in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Romney Teamster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iona Bagwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llanberis's Bleddyn Faherty got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iona Bagwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romney Teamster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merlin Hand was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Kynan Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Llanberis's Eryi Godbear tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Drudwas Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caradoc Grace's late challenge caught a Llanberis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caradoc Grace helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Maesteg FC got a freekick which was hit by Caradoc Grace. Iona Bagwell stood somewhat misplaced when Drudwas Harden came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 73 minute. In the 78th minute Bleddyn Faherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkin Keelan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romney Teamster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Iona Bagwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Llanberis got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin Graves. Drudwas Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eryi Godbear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melkin Keelan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Maesteg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Llanberis.
