Rhys Finlay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brys Clicker, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The tension between the UWA Llanberis and the Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Trahern Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gwitart Dunphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwitart Dunphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Finlay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22ndth minute of the game Brys Clicker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Llanberis's Rhys Finlay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Neath's goalkeeper Llwydeu Puddler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eudav Kidder. Griflet Kilduff hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cerwyn Brandon hit a great ball. Rhys Finlay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwitart Dunphy in the 32nd minute of play. Llwydeu Puddler made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eudav Kidder sent off a good shot on target. Garym Coulson hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Sinnoch Higgler. After a defensive mix-up in Neath's zone, Bradwen Love stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llwydeu Puddler came out of the goal and Bradwen Love tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brys Clicker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradwen Love was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes UWA Llanberis got a freekick which was hit by Trahern Duff. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Llanberis's zone, Brys Clicker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Finlay came out of the goal and Brys Clicker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rhys Finlay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brys Clicker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Llwydeu Puddler came out of the goal and Aberthol Whitesmith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwitart Dunphy got free with Rhys Finlay in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
