Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greidyawl Holcombe kicked off to start the match. When Bridgend's Pedr Haycook in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abergele Utd's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Pedr Haycook came free, but Ysgawyn Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kynwyl Bain in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysgawyn Gardner saved Abergele Utd from getting behind. Digon Maltster made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Caddoc Flesher sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 11 minutes, Greidyawl Holcombe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abergele Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greidyawl Holcombe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedr Haycook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysgawyn Gardner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greidyawl Holcombe in the 21st minute of play forced Bridgend's goalkeeper Digon Maltster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caddoc Flesher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Digon Maltster made a huge save. Abergele Utd's Ysgawyn Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedr Haycook in the 32nd minute of play. If Pedr Haycook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Pedr Haycook in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Abergele Utd's Ysgawyn Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedr Haycook in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Caddoc Flesher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedr Haycook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysgawyn Gardner having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedr Haycook to make the kick off. If Caddoc Flesher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Pedr Haycook managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedr Haycook was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysgawyn Gardner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kynwyl Bain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedr Haycook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Colwyn Graham. Hydd Herne was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bridgend's Digon Maltster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greidyawl Holcombe in the 74th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Pedr Haycook who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abergele Utd's Ysgawyn Gardner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caddoc Flesher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Digon Maltster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's Greidyawl Holcombe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Digon Maltster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Pedr Haycook got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ysgawyn Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedr Haycook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colwyn Graham was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Digon Maltster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greidyawl Holcombe in the 89th minute of play. Digon Maltster came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Abergele Utd's Greidyawl Holcombe. But to his dismay, Greidyawl Holcombe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.
