After having played for 12 minutes, Ffodor Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llanberis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ffodor Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mabsant Gibbons came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the UWA Skewen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mabsant Gibbons couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute of the match Trent Cox sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cadellin Higgler skillfully saved the ball. Ffodor Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Powell Cain made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mabsant Gibbons in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cadellin Higgler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mabsant Gibbons struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cadellin Higgler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Skewen. Drwst Coomber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhett Gregson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Powell Cain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Drwst Coomber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ffodor Dalton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Powell Cain having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Llanberis's Gerallt Gaoler got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cadellin Higgler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drwst Coomber in the 40th minute of the match. If Mabsant Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gobrwy Eye during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhett Gregson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Powell Cain saved UWA Skewen from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rhett Gregson made the kick off in the second half. UWA Skewen's Powell Cain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhett Gregson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Ffodor Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Powell Cain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
