Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iau Browne started the match with the kick off. Kynwyl Bain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4 minutes into the match, Pedr Haycook notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maesteg FC's Kynlas Kerswell. Kynlas Kerswell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bridgend's Kynwyl Bain got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Pedr Haycook reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kynlas Kerswell. The goal made the score 2-0. Iau Browne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digon Maltster having to interfere. Bridgend's Digon Maltster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwitart Ingram in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Colwyn Graham. 21 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's Gwitart Ingram sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Digon Maltster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Gwitart Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digon Maltster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iau Browne took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Digon Maltster. Digon Maltster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Kynwyl Bain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedr Haycook might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kynlas Kerswell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedr Haycook ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedr Haycook to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brice Henson during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Henson to maneuver through the defense. If Gwitart Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Iau Browne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Maesteg FC booed when Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colwyn Graham didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iau Browne in the 57th minute of play forced Bridgend's goalkeeper Digon Maltster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 57th minute of the match Brice Henson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Brice Henson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Bridgend getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Brice Henson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Moesen Greener got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kynwyl Bain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynlas Kerswell having to interfere. Iau Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colwyn Graham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynlas Kerswell having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillan Brody to maneuver through the defense. Maesteg FC's Tor Haymonger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Digon Maltster but with some difficulty. The supporters of Maesteg FC booed when Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedr Haycook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iau Browne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Iau Browne came free, but Digon Maltster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iau Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maesteg FC's Iau Browne got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwitart Ingram's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Digon Maltster skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 91 played minutes, Maesteg FC's Tor Haymonger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Digon Maltster came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maesteg FC reached it. Bridgend's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
