Powell Cain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Abergele Utd booed when UWA Skewen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gobrwy Eye didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Greidyawl Holcombe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Skewen's Powell Cain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Greidyawl Holcombe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Powell Cain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Caddoc Flesher came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Abergele Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caddoc Flesher couldn't finish the play. Iolo Conyers kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Caddoc Flesher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Heilyn Cox fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abergele Utd's protests and gave Heilyn Cox a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Abergele Utd got a freekick which was hit by Heilyn Cox. The crowd rose to their feet as Mabsant Gibbons kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ysgawyn Gardner. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. If Caddoc Flesher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mabsant Gibbons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysgawyn Gardner having to make a save. A collision led to Abergele Utd getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Caddoc Flesher hit a great ball. Abergele Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greidyawl Holcombe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drwst Coomber's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ysgawyn Gardner firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Mabsant Gibbons came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the UWA Skewen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mabsant Gibbons couldn't finish the play. Mabsant Gibbons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ysgawyn Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Skewen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
