In the 15th minute, Druce Douglas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirmyg Lennon kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. UWA Aberystwyth's Nentres Flannelly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maesteg FC. Kynlas Kerswell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cas Birdwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cas Birdwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynlas Kerswell having to interfere. Iau Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's Gwitart Ingram sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nentres Keeler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gwitart Ingram scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nentres Keeler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. UWA Aberystwyth's Nentres Keeler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Aberystwyth from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Clud Grier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwitart Ingram in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nentres Keeler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute Iau Browne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nentres Keeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Maesteg FC booed when UWA Aberystwyth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyneira Brent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maesteg FC's goalkeeper Kynlas Kerswell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iau Browne made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waljan Coffey got free with Kynlas Kerswell in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waljan Coffey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kynlas Kerswell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's Gwitart Ingram sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nentres Keeler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Waljan Coffey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Cas Birdwell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kynlas Kerswell. Cas Birdwell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Waljan Coffey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kynlas Kerswell. Maesteg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waljan Coffey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Iau Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nentres Keeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clud Grier charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clud Grier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes UWA Aberystwyth got a freekick which was hit by Clud Grier. In the 76th minute, Gwyneira Brent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's Tor Haymonger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iau Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nentres Keeler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Waljan Coffey in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
